LEGO Bot & Play Event at Pickering Central Library

Durham Region Educational Services’ LEGO Bot & Play Event at Pickering Central Library was a great success ✨, with 14 attendees joining us for a fun afternoon of building, creativity, and learning!

The kids (ages 5-8yrs old) had a great time exploring the LEGO Education Essential and Prime kits, building creations like a Ferris wheel 🎡 and a large bus 🚌. It was wonderful to see them engaged and curious as they worked on their projects.

Parents also enjoyed the program’s hands-on teaching style, which encouraged kids to explore and build independently while allowing our team to step

in and help when needed.

Sadiya, the Children’s Engagement Specialist at the library, was also very happy with the session and would like to stay connected with us about future events and programs.

A big thank you to Pickering Central Library and all the families who joined us! We would also like to shout out to staff and volunteers Reshana and Tharuk for the great work! We look forward to continuing this partnership and bringing more fun, hands-on LEGO experiences to the community! 👨‍👩‍👧🙌
